桜花散りかひ曇れ老いらくの
来むといふなる道まがふがに
Sakura bana chiri kai kumore oiraku no
kom to yū naru michi magō gani
Oh cherry blossoms! Scatter and be cloudy! That way on which aging is said to come would be veiled by petals.
This poem was made for Fujiwara no Mototsune (a brother of Empress Nijo). His birth celebration of 40 years old in Kyoto.
