老人有り哺 を含み腹を鼓 し、壌 を撃ちて歌ひて曰はく 日出でて作 し 日入りて息 ふ井 を鑿 ちて飲み 田を畊 して食らふ 帝力何 ぞ我に有らんや
An old man is there.
He eats something, pats on the belly,
beats the ground and sings a song -
Sunrise I work.
Sunset I rest.
I dig a well to drink,
Cultivate the field to eat.
