Into my stomach         
Spring is dripping down;
Taste of rice gruel     



Natsume Soseki (1867-1916)
He is a descendant of Natsume Yoshinobu, the vassal of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
He wrote this poem after he went into the hospital for a stomach ulcer.
