Who am I?

What is Labor and Social Security Attorney ('Sharoushi ' in Japanese) ?

Sharoushi, labor and social security attorneys are nationally certified experts in personnel affairs, labor management, public medical insurance and pension systems, which was established in 1968.

We offer advice for business managers and workers about labor issues.

In addition, we can help people apply for a pension and explain its complex systems that are difficult for people to understand.

(One of our office's main services is helping apply for a disability pension.)

Background

Bachelor's Degree in Arts from Meiji University.

After Working at a clinic as the head of general affairs department, he moved on to the role of an accounting consultant for a major accounting firm in Ibaraki prefecture. He obtained the licence in 2007(while working there) and founded his own office in 2010.

Message from him

Hello, my name is Akira Ebisawa. Except for four years while I was a college student, I have lived in Ibaraki prefecture since I was born.

I love Ibaraki prefecture (although it's a rural area !) and enjoy living here with my family. (My family consists of five people , my mother, wife , two sons and myself.)

Although I don't think I'm a good father , my family used to enjoy playing video games (mainly ' Monster Hunter ') together. However, the older my sons grew , the less we played them together. So, I started learning English in my free time as my hobby. I have been learning it for more than six years and now I'm creating my website (this site !) in English.

To be honest, I don't think I'm a fluent English speaker . In fact , I failed the Eiken grade 1 interview test.

* Eiken is one of the most popullar English tests in Japan, which is a four-skills test. (Grade 1 = CEFR C1)

However, I think that there are many things I can do to help foreign people who have trouble living in Japan.

To bigin with, as a labor and social security attorney who can speak English, I began to make working rules in English for foreign emplyees .Labor laws in Japan are very complex , so it is important for companies that have foreign employees to make English work rules that are easy to understand for them.(I also started making employment contracts in English. Employers are required to notify their employees of important items of their employment conditions in written form.)

I hope many foreign people can enjoy living in Japan and I would like to help you and become your good neighbor.
